The word Consultant has a a specific meaning however the requirements of a Consultant are slightly varied from one work place to another. In my 14 years of working in the Salesforce eco-system, I would love to not just share my own experience but also highlight what does it really mean to be a Consultant. I would like to talk about the skills required to be one and how can one practice those skills. I would also like to talk about the career path of a Consultant, how to get there and where to go from being a Consultant. Not to mention the expectations of this role from the employer, implementation team as well as clients. There is a depth of knowledge I have to share, in my current place workplace, one of my responsibilities is to support and help junior team members grow into becoming professional consultants. I have learned a lot being in this eco-system and would love to give back to the community.
